Tomme Tipppee Comfi-Neck Catch-All Bib
Advantages: MUCH MORE COST EFFECTIVE.
When my babies were young, I was forever buying material bibs. I would buy large packs and within a week or so they would all be ruined by the bright orange food sains from the baby food jars. It was costing me a fortune, trying to keep up with the demand for bibs! I was washing them straight away, but they would never come out totally stain free.
I first came across these Tomme Tippee catch all bibs in Asda's baby provsisions area. I was immidiately impressed with the design of these bibs. As they are made from soft plastic which can be wiped clean with no problems. Also The neck area is much more comfortable on these bibs as it is also made from soft plastic and can be popped easily to fasten. I found this so much easier than trying to wrestle with baby in order to secure a bow with the ties from the normal material bibs. Also this bib has four small holes in the neck so that the bib can be fastened according to the baby's size. Ensuring comfort.
I was so pleased with this bib. I ditched the other material ones and bought another two of these. Although they are more expensive at nearly £3 a bib. They are certainly better value and are much longer lasting and durable. The other thing that I loved about these bibs is the small turned up area at the bottom of the bib. This catches all bits of food which are dribbled or dropped. Thus saving numerous outfit changes.
The colours of these bibs are very attractive. They are quite vibrant but not overly bright. They really offer a very good quality look and feel. The fasteners despite being used lots of times, remained effective and easy to use. Although it's worth pointing out that as my babies got bigger they began to figure out how to remove the bib, which led to one or two messy moments.
I found that this bib was so valuable when taking baby out. It was easy to store in the baby changing bag. I would take it everywhere with me. Safe in the knowledge that it could be wiped over after use and repacked away. The size of these bibs are also somewhat larger than normal bibs, which was great as it covered a larger area of baby.
Although the bib shown in the above picture is pink. They do offer a wide range of colours that would suit both baby boys and girls. There is a lovely shade of green and a smart blue one amongst an array of other colours.
I would highly advise any mums to buy these bibs. Particularly through the weaning stages. It really does save a great deal of time on washing. This bib is also much more comfortable than the fabric ones. I found that the fabric ones were pretty poor at providing protection from food and milk. With a few outfits being ruined along the way.
I have nothing but praise for these genius bibs. They are initially more expensive, but in the short term they will be much more cost effective. I found that both my babies seemed more content in wearing this bib than the material ones. Although at first they were slightly wary, they soon became used to it. When my son was a baby, my daughter who was five at the time, enjoyed helping me by fastening the bib. This gave her a feeling that she was assisting me which helped her feel involved in baby feeding time.
Summary: THIS BIB IS PLASTIC AND IT'S FANTASTIC.
