Advantages: nice colours

Disadvantages: unclear instructions, flow rate does not seem to work, lid takes strength to get off

We bought this after our son tried and failed to be happy with the avent drinking cup. However although the colours and build quality are good we feel that overall it does not work for us.

The lid is hard to get off, you really have to pull it off, this means that any left over liquid gets displaced over the floor. The same is true for putting the lid on you have to really push down round the whole rim to secure it.

The spout is meant to be easy for a baby to use during the weaning process, as it has a couple of holes in it which release liquid at the rate of flow that the baby drinks at. Callum could not get the hang of it and just seemed to get air.

Also you are meant to prime the spout by squeezing it but the instructions are unclear as to which direction you squeeze - width or length ways?

In the end we have taken the lid off and Callum drinks straight from the cup he is much happier with this method and now refuses to drink from a cup unless it has no lid.

I am adding this to the review (a few days later) as I owe an apology to Tommee I thought that we had the first beaker - we do not we have the easy flow beaker.
