-- INTRODUCTION -- I am currently breast feeding and bottle feeding little Ethan at the moment, in which the health visitor encouraged it with him being so young it will get him used to bottles. Although the bottles I had was not much good as he had restless feeds and was always cramped up with wind troubles. I do also have a breast pump which I can express my milk into 4oz avent bottles but again he was still having the restless bottle feeds, and still having the wind trouble too. So when I saw these bottles when browsing the Argos Catalogue it was a must buy. Let me tell you why they were so appealing to me. -- ABOUT THE BOTTLES -- When ... Read the complete review

Tommee Tippee Closer to nature Bottles The moment I saw these bottles I thought that they looked really smart and as I had an Amazon voucher to spend I thought I would invest in a couple and see how they faired compared to the more widely used baby bottles made by Avent. I already had a few Avent bottles given to me from a friend and I just had to buy some new teats for them so comparing the two was easy. I paid around £10 for three of these Tommee Tippee bottles that hold 260ml and that price includes the postage and packaging costs, minus that it would have cost around £8. Now this compared to Avent is probably slightly ... Read the complete review

I decided from early on in my pregnancy that I would like to do combination feeding with my son - both formula and breast milk. I had heard from many people that it can often cause "nipple confusion" often with the baby rejecting either breast or bottle. Tommee Tippee's closer to nature bottles seemed to me to be the safest option and we have never looked back. The teats have a unique texture and shape to them that mimic the breast. The shape of the bottles themselves are ergonomically shaped to be comfortable to hold for both parent and older child. They are also compatible with the sipper cup attachments and breat pumps in the same ... Read the complete review

When I had my second son I knew that I wanted to express some milk for his night feeds as soon as was possible, but was given alot of information which made me worried about introducing a bottle too early as it can confuse very small babies as the suckling action is different for bottle and for breast, so I was hesitant to buy anything However my Community Midwife recommended the Tommy Tippee Closer to Nature range and it was fantastic! The bottles were about £4.00 each, and they came with a teat already. The teat is wide neck and the teat copies the way a breast moves when a baby is suckling and its extremely soft compared to other teats. They are also BPA ... Read the complete review

We had to start mix feeding my daughter when she was only a few weeks old due to reflux and slow weight gain. I got these bottles due to the wide teat and in the hopes that she'd continue to breastfeed as well as take the bottles. You can buy these in 4oz or 8oz sizes, and there are 4 different speeds of teat available. All of the bottles come with the slower newborn teat so if you need a faster one you can buy them separately. The bottles come in packs of two, four, or as singles. A two pack would cost £7.99 for the 4oz bottles and £11.99 for the 8oz bottle. You will find these in pretty much any shop that sells baby items as they're popular. I ... Read the complete review
