As I intended to breast feed my baby, I bought these great looking tommee tippee botthes with the intention of expressing and mixed feeding. It didn't work out that way and needed to soly bottle feed. Had 4 of these bottles as I got a pack on special in Tesco and 2 in the microwave steriliser.
I found these a nightmare to clean, only 4 fit in the steriliser, which is a pain when one is soooo shattered that those precious 8 extra minutes are a pain.

Also, very fiddly, the teat has top be pulled through with a precise amount of force otherwise they just pop through and one has to start again. This is down to the deep groove around the base of the teat, that needs real deep cleaning with a brush. Another real pain in the rear when all you want to do is get the job done as quickly as possible and get some zzzz's.

I sound like I'm winging, and I am, these became the bain of my life. After a week or so of having the little one, I packed my rather massive bag of goodies, million muslins, 3 bottles of cool boiled water, and my powder seporater, nappies....etc etc etc. Stopped on schedual to feed Lara, asked in starbucks (my main stopping place!) for a big cup of boiling water to warm my formular. To my horror, the flipping wide trendy doo daa bottles didn;t fit!! Ended up with a gigantic dish washing plastic bowl (thanks the lovely girl at starbucks) filled with 5 inches of water. (Seriously, health and safety gone bonkers....how is that better than the microwave in the back???)

Anything good?? YES, Lara loved them and drank loads of milk and belched like a builder. I soon swithed to Avent, perhaps there is a reason why they seem to be used by everyone I know.

Summary: Don't bother, keep it simple.
