When i had my first baby i wanted to breast feed but incase i didnt get along with it or i wanted my partner to take some of the feeding duties on i decided that a breast pump would be ideal to purchase.I was lucky enough at the time to get this one for half price in boots making it £12.49 so i was really pleased.I got this particular one due to it being the same range as my bottles and also the price.
The pump is a manual/hand operated which i had been told by friends can be tiring to use and not very good but this one was amazing !!! The bit the actually is put to the breast is shaped in a way that its not at all uncomfortable and i found the handle on the pump very well shaped and comfortable to hold.Yes i can imagine if you were sitting there for hours on end that it might become a bit sore on your hand but for each sitting i done i found it perfectly fine.
The pump itself is easy to put together and as it only comes with 3 parts its quickly assembled & dissembled.It also comes with a spare valve for the pump which i thought was good value.The pump also comes with a bottle to attach to the bottom to collect the milk & a lid for that bottle when you need to store the milk in the fridge.The pump comes in a box which is great for storing the pump when not in use so that no parts are lost the box also doubles up as a mircowave steriliser for it so thats yet again and excellent feature.
All in all i found this breast pump great value, easy to use and comfortable.I would definitely reccommend to anyone out there.
