Advantages: Ease to assemble

Disadvantages: Handle broke after two months

I originally bought the Tommee Tippee Freedom Breast Pump from Mothercare for around £25, then saw it about a month later for £10 at Tesco, so make sure you look around for the best price if you are going to buy one. The pump is easy to assemble, there are only three main parts and one smaller part and it comes with a steriliser box, which is quite useful ( I had already bought the electronic steriliser so did not have much need for the box), however, I did use the steriliser box when I recently travelled abroad to Rome. After two months of using the pump, I had planned to go out with my friends one night so needed to provide some breastmilk for my husband, when the handle of the pump broke into two, I tried to glue it back together, however, to no avail and the pump ruined my night as I had to rush home. The pump is made of plastic and therefore is okay to use as long as you do not use it too much.

Summary: Okay to use, as long as you are not using often
