Advantages: Easy to use, good shape

Disadvantages: May be hard to fit in lots of bottles

Having bought a pack of Tommee tippee closer to nature bottles when we went to buy a steriliser we decided to go for Tommee tippee to match the bottles!

The steam steriliser is currently priced at £39.99 but I have often seen it on offer in Tesco and Mothercare for around £20-25.

Included with the steriliser is a 'free starter kit' which is three 260ml closer to nature bottles, an easiflow bottle to cup trainer and a bottle brush.

The steriliser itself has two main parts, the base, which is white with the digital display in the middle at the front and the main part where you place your bottles to be sterilised. There is a hinged lockable lid on the top of the main body an sitting in the top of the main part is a removable tray.

You place 80mls of tapwater in the base section. The water is easy to measure as the Tommee Tippee bottles have a dotted line on them indicating this amount! You place the main body on the base, put your bottles in, put the tray on the top and put the teats on the tray. You then close the lid press the button and it's starts the sterilising.

The actual cycle is very quick (5minutes) and the progress is displayed on the digital display. The bottles are ready (if a little hot!) at the end of the cycle! The display will count down how long the bottles remain sterile for (if the lid is unopened) once the cycle is finished.

The steriliser although oval/rounded at the front is flat at the back so fits nicely against the wall so it fits in the kitchen easily. It states that you can fit 6 bottles in the steriliser though I know other people with this sterliser that have only managed to fit in 5 bottles. I only ever used the sterliser for one or two bottles at a time as I was mainly breastfeeding.

Summary: Recommended. I would use this again
