I bought a Tommy Tippee electronic steam steriliser for my baby grandaughter, I used the steriliser on a regular basis because she lived with ourselves and her mum and dad for the first 4 months. I also found that it was extremely difficult to 'fit in' all of the bottles plus teats etc into the unit. I found it quite simple and very easy to use taking only 5 minutes to sterilise her bottles, but the fact that they only remain sterile for 3 hours after opening the unit I found really silly. Most babies usually go around 4 hours between feeds, this meant that the bottles needed to be sterlised again and again throughout the day and night. It was either a matter of keeping on sterilising the bottles every couple of hours to ensure we didnt have a screaming baby waiting for a milk feed or wasting electric and re doing them all before they were needed. We now use a traditional cold water steriliser, so much easier and no babies screaming for a bottle!

Summary: not really much use considering the bottles only remain sterile for 3 hours!
