Advantages: Do prevent sore under the neck
Disadvantages: VERY expensive for what they are
I brouth these bibs when I was pregnant in recommendation from a friend who had a six month old and said she had used them all the time. I thought if you needed them I would probably need them too. She breastfed and I knew I was going to give that a go too, and I was alos going to give a bottle every now and then to get my husband involved.
****Design****
These bibs are designed to prevent milk or dribble from going under babies chin and making it sore by having a roll at the topp of the bib.. They are made from cotton are machine washable and can be tumble dried. They dome in three different colored trims. Pink trim, blue trim or cream trim. The whole bib is always cream. They are done up with velcro at the back.
**** Costing*****
These vary massivey in price, I brought four of them for £4.99 but you can get them cheaper if yu shop around, i think the cheapest I found them was about £3, on the tommee tippee website they are selling for £8
**** efficiency****
I found these bibs did work very well and did stop her getting sore when she dribbled a lot through teething. she was never a messy feeder so I did not have her in bibs for her feeds. I can see how they could be really useful for babies that drible a lot when feeding.
****Recomendation****
I would recommend these to a friend if they were having problems with skin under babies neck, however I think for your average baby it is an expense you could do without. They are over priced and I didn't really need them as she probably wore a bib about 10 times so they went to waste really.
****Summary****
I am only giving these 3 stars because the design is clever however they are so overpriced and unnecessarily so, they are ony a bib.
Summary: Would not necessarily purchase agin unless my baby had sores under the neck
