This is such a simple product but it is ideal as a first cup for teaching baby to hold it and drink from it. It is made from plastic in all one bright colour (we have the blue one). It has a handle on either side to help baby hold it steady and a flat spout that you flip up when baby wants a drink. The spout has 2 holes at the end meaning that liquid does not flow out too quickly. When finished you just flip the spout back down again into the little dip where it sits making the top completely flat and sealed again.

I found it especially useful as my baby flatly refused a bottle other than for sips of water, yet when I started giving him water from the Tippee cup he will now drink 2 cupfuls a day which is obviously very good for him. Also, it is fantastic because the handles are easy to grip - my LO has been able to reach out, grab it from his highchair tray and drink from it since about 5.5 months old.

The little spout can be pushed down meaning I can carry it in my handbag or changing bag when we go out without having to worry about water spilling everywhere. Also the water does not flow out too quickly so younger babies won't choke or splutter on it.

It only cost £1 and it is fantastic, yet I have seen other cups that claim to do the same job in Boots and other places for 4 times the price. We have it in blue and I am so glad we chose this cup - it owes us nothing.
