==Tommee Tippee Tip It Up First Cup==

When Jack was around 9 months of age we bought him his first "sippy cup" so that he could give himself water as and when he needed it. This Tommee Tippee Tip It Up First Cup was the ideal one to buy as it has a movable mouth piece which can be tucked away to prevent spillage or opened up with relative ease to allow the drink inside out.

The cup can be found in most places that stock baby goods such as Boots or Superdrug and I ave also seen them in both Morrison's and Tescos. The Cup is around the £2 50p price range and comes in around 3 different colours that I know. There is a blue and pink and also a turquoise type colour. Jack has had a few of the blue and a few of the turquoise. We still actually use one of these in the night for his bedtime drink so there is no real change of spillage in the night.

The cups are designed for children aged 4 months and over and can be cleaned easily and also sterilised which is always recommended for any child under the age of 12 months. The two large handles on the side make the cup easy to hold for small hands and make the chance of dropping it fairly slim. The spout of the cup did get chewed a fair bit when Jack was a lot younger as it is a flat sort of shape which seemed ideal I suppose to ease the ache of teething pain. When jack was very small he did find it a little tricky to push the spout down and then bring it back out again but now he is that bit older this is no trouble.

The cups are a good size for smaller children and ideal for taking out and about although I did find that they are not entirely leak proof on the few occasions when we have taken the cups out and about. For us we tend to keep the cups now for just the night time drinks as Jack can easily handle a regular plastic cup around the house and a juice bottle when outside.

Now we have another baby on the way I can know how great these cups are and how well they last making them worth the money that we will surely be buying more for the next baby. They are affordable and easy to use and wash and all in all I can really find no fault whatsoever with them. I will have to award this cup a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and give then a high recommendation.

I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you

many thanks for taking the time to read.

Summary: a perfect cup for years!
