Advantages: Handy, come with spoon and lid

Disadvantages: None

If you're a parent like me you will have loads of little cups, bowls, lids and spoons floating around the house that you use when feeding your little ones. In my opinion and experience you can never have enough little bowls as they are so handy for actually feeding from, putting left overs in, taking out snacks in them etc etc.

Most of the baby products I buy are from Tommee Tippee as I am always pleased with their products and they sell them at Boots which is where I go to buy everything baby and I can also get Boots Advantage points when I buy items here so its a perfect brand for me. I had some of these bowls back when I was weaning my little girls and at the start of this year I bought some for my little boy too.

They come in either pink or blue so stereotypically I had pink for my little girl and blue for my little boy although it really doesn't matter, they are both the same. The bowls come with lids which is a must in my opinion as the lid is perfect when it comes to transporting food inside them. I think its also great to have a lid as when I put leftover mashed up food inside them it will stay fresh until later that day or the next day. This is perfect for when I have made a lot of mashed food and don't want to waste it.

The bowls also come with a spoon which again is perfect as I really like the Tommee Tippee spoons. These spoons have quite a bendy rubber feel to them and the actually spoon part at the front is great for scooping out food and the soft rubber goes into my little boys mouth well and does not irritate his soft gums or teeth. I am finding now that he is chewing the spoon quite a bit as well and when the day comes when he is feeding himself (which won't be long I don't think) I think he will get on well with these spoons as they are so easy to hold and put into his mouth.

The bowl is quite deep which I like as its harder for food to spill out of it which can often happen with an eager baby who is desperate for his food and who will grab at the bowl. Its also designed well and makes it quite easy for you to scoop soft mashed up food out of it. According to Tommee Tippee you can use these bowls with the Tommee Tippee magic mats. I actually have a Magic mat, its a mat that sticks to a highchair tray and then suctions on your bowl so a baby cannot drop it over the side and although I thought this was a great design idea, when I used it with my little girl she figured it out in a couple of days and was able to unsuction the whole mat and just drop that over the side of the highchair so I don't use the mat anymore.

These bowls are available from Boots for £4.99 and in my opinion are a good weaning tool.
