Well kids are kids and when it comes to eating it is quite messy and things like their clothes can get destroyed especailly with their bright orange food and that then stains their nice wee jumper they got. Having had 2 children already I know that 3rd time round I had to try to do something to protect the baby clothes. Money was tighter and I wouldnt afford to keep throwing things away because they were marked. I have used every bib under the sun. Little teeny ones with string ties that are absolutely useless for a baby of weaning age and above. Over the head ones which are slightly better than the previously mentioned. sleeved bibs that do indeed protect clothes, well tops but you have had it if it lands on the trousers/skirt!!!. one common problem ... I love disposable bibs, they are a fantastic idea, so handy for travelling and days out. I used to hate coming come with loads of really horrible smelly, dirty, food encrusted, stained bibs, that I just couldn't get clean. I have used various types of bibs and to be quite honest I do prefer the plastic catch-all bibs. I bought mine from Toys R Us for around £1.50 per bib. They are a wonderful invention as any food/drink that misses baby's mouth goes straight into the pocket of the bib. Therefore, not landing straight onto a nice clean outfit. ...
