I bought this Alessi Juicy Salif as a gift to me for my birthday with some birthday vouchers, I must say that this object it very very appealing to the eye. I have a very contemporary kitchen with a lot of Alessi items on display and this Alessi juicer is one of the best items I own, it clearly is a collectors item and comes presented in a beautiful box. I have owned the juicer now for over a year and it does not rust or mark, it is still as good as new.

For anyone who wonders how this juicy salif works, basically you have to place it over a bowl and squeeze the lemon over the lop of the juicer. The juice runs down the juicer and into the bowl. It's almost like a spider and has ridges on the base with the Alessi name stamped into the metal.

It is quite tall, 12 inches aprox and sits on my kitchen unit, many people that visit my house always comment on the juicer, it is space age looking and clearly a designer kitchen item. I have been told it is a future collectors item so i will be keeping my juicer for many years to come.

I bought this from John Lewis for £29 but i've noticed they are more expensive now. If you shop around you may get it until the £40 mark but still a great price for a future collectors item.
