“ Brand: Argos „

Having re-done my flat last christmas my parents asked what i wanted for christmas, i asked for accessories for my flat. This set was on my list. It appealed because i have an open plan living and kitchen area with grey walls so wanted black accessories for the kitchen. It comes a 5 piece set so thought it was good value for my parents money. Perssonally i would have gone for something a little more expensive but as my parents were buying, i wasnt told a budget so didnt want to go OTT.

The set comes with a white box clearly indicating colour match. Sounds daft but the very plain and basic packaging did make me wonder if the product would be the same! They have 5 canisters are made from stainless steel and are suitable for handwashing only.
In the set you will receive a canister for your:
bread - H10 W9 inches
biscuits -H7 W5.5 inches
tea - H5 W4.5 inches
coffee - H5 W4.5 inches
sugar - H5 W4.5 inches
I chose black, but as listed above there are a range of colours. It has a glossy finish with a silver lid, each canister is cleared labeled horizontally in silver writting. The cainsters are a very good size as you will see from the measurements i have given above. Currently it is the only colour match product in my kitchen but it blends well with my other black accessories.
There is a white band around the top of each canister so that the lid stays on.

Would i reccomend this to a friend? Only if they were on a tight budget. It looks nice but the lids just dont stay on. The bread and biscuit canisters are both fine. But the tea, coffee and sugar jars lids just keep popping off, ive now got them stacked on top of each other to keep the lids on.
I did read a few of the reviews about this before my parents brought it, but as said i wasnt awear of their budget so picked something that was cheap and that looked nice. Ive said it a few times in my reviews now that you get what you pay for, and this is so true. I also have the bathmat from the same range, also unpleased with that. I do have the bath towels from the same range and they are ok but not perfect.
Perssonally while i find the brand affordable their products are pretty dire. I dont really like my tea, coffee and sugar jars stacked up, but i dont want my sugar going hard etc.
overall rating, 3/5, only buy if your on a tight budget!
From Argos's Colour Match range. This range features rugs, blinds, bed covers, and kitchen ware, and the selling point is that you can get everything to match and colour coordinate in your house, making it look stylish and funky. Im reviewing the storage tins from this range. It is a 5 piece set of stainless steel tins. They are as folows
They are air tight stainless steel, and are handwashable only.
Only avaliable at Argos priced at £24.99 or as part of a 3 for 2 deal at the moment.
Avaliable in 4 different colours
I bought these as we have recently moved and I want to colour coordinate everything in our new place and make it look pretty. I bought these on the 3 for 2 colour match deal which saves you money. I chose the black ones as they go with any colour and they look smart. Ordering and recieving them is easy. The packaging is very basic, but its from Argos so I guess the packaging doesnt matter too much. They are black on the actuall tin with silver writing for the product inside the tin and a silver lid. The silver is a chrome effect this looks nice but also shows finger prints up all the time, meaning you have to wash them a lot. Now these are handwash only, and you have to make sure you dry them properly otherwise you end up with sticky sugar and damp bread. The bread bin itself isnt very big and you can only store one loaf in it. Also after the first wash Iv found that the lids dont fit back on properly and can pop off even if you puch them on.
Avoid! spend your money on a different product. They dont do what they are supposed to. The lids dont fit very well causing unfresh bread and damp coffee and sugar. I think the look pretty but thats about it. They need washing all the time due to finger prints and they take ages to dry. Not recommended at all.
I think the range is a great idea, but unfortunatley this product is no good.
Thanks for reading and rating.
