=== Overall opinion ===

I have many nieces and nephews, 9 currently infact, and because of this I often have visitors to my home on my days off work. I love this, don't get me wrong, but sometimes children can be so fussy and hard to cater for! That is the reason why I keep looks of different shaped sandwich cutters in the house. Sandwiches are always easy to make and I generally have something that any fussy child will eat in the house and thus I like to make sandwiches quite a lot!

This is an ideal sandwich cutter for children to use as it does not have sharp edges and is nice and smooth so there is no danger of little ones injuring themselves. This cuts through bread well, even two thick slices, and leaves lovely dolphin shaped sandwiches that are a hit, in particular, with my nieces. The blue is a nice colour and this means that I can even use it on the boys sandwiches if I am making a few in one go. There is a little heart in the middle too that is a cute touch, particularly if I make my husband some sandwiches with one of these.

The best thing about these sandwich cutters is that with a standard slice of bread there is not much wastage. I like to know that while I am not encouraging the children to eat crusts that they don't want to eat anyway that they are not going to waste so I usually just freeze in a bag for making breadcrumbs, however, there is minimal left over with this anyway!

These cutters are straight forward to use, wash and store and even children can use them if they want to. These help me to encourage my nieces and nephews to eat something reasonably healthy when they visit my house and I have even used these to cut some lettuce in the past for a fun twist on a salad and it was well received although not quite as good an effect.

I was pleased enough with the price as I feel that this is reasonable for a product that is going to last a while and do me with the new 'round' of new nieces and nephews.
