... plastic this is really quite thick. It looks just as shown in the picture with a little handle made for ease of holding and I find it makes it easier to wash up too.
I find the chopping board is just about big enough to chop any item on, although I find putting items I have chopped into a pan straight away works better because the board does not get too full then.

The chopping board =============== I actually bought this for B & M for £5 I only paid that price as it came with a set of 3 knifes too. I found the price very reasonable but I would have expected to pay less had it not come with the knives too, so you may be able to pick it up for cheaper than what I paid. The board is made of solid plastic, (they do also do wooden ones like shown in the picture)so any knife will not just cut through it like it could with thin plastic this is really quite thick.
