It's a 12 cup muffin tin, with an added plastic lid with 2 carry handles. It's brilliant!
I just use the muffin tin to bake the cupcakes as normal, then take them out of the tin and put them on a wire rack to cool. Once the cupcakes are cool I put them back into the tin to frost them, I think that it's better to put them back in the tin to frost them as it stops any damage to the frosting when you are then moving the frosted cupcakes to the tin.

I recieved this 12 cup muffin pan with a lid from Lakeland from the girls at work as a birthday gift. I love to bake cupakes and regularly take them into work to share, to stop myself from eating all 12 as my husband doesn't really have a sweet tooth. I would normally just put the cupcakes in a tin or a tupperware container to carry to work, but occasionally the frosting on top of the cupcakes would get bashed or squashed as the tin or container was not really deep enough. Well last week I had one of those shopping days when I just went all out and bought everything that I saw that I liked. I am suffering this week for it though it has to be said. This amazing cake tin was one of my many purchases.
