... originally bought it for my daughter years ago but she is now too old and cool for it but my son absolutely adores it. The dino cutter is a pretty basic product and is exactly what you would think it is from the name. It is a cutter in the shape of a dinosaur used to cut sandwiches/toast/cookies etc. and in the case of my son anything else he can think of which might be able to be cut. It is made from a green plastic and is very durable and there are no cracks or breaks in it even though I have used it loads in the t...more

I am so impressed with this sandwich cutter that I just HAD to review it!! It is shaped like a dinosaur and easily cuts sandwiches into the shape of 2 dinosaurs. Well of course you are not restricted to sandwiches, you can use it for whatever you want; cookies, toast, mash and even cheese slices have all been dino'd in my house! This product really is perfect in every way! It is easy to use, fits a slice of bread exactly-therefore not much waste, literally just the crusts, cuts beautifully without the cutter having a dangerously sharp edge and oh so easy to clean! I put mine in the dishwasher and it comes out fine every time! This is ...  Read the complete review

I currently have seven nieces & nephews and throughout the years they have all had their various fads and phases that they've inevitably grown out of. One of my nephews loves dinosaurs and when browsing the Lakeland website I knew this would be just perfect for getting him to eat more sandwiches and especially ones make out of brown bread which he has recently taken a dislike to. The Lakeland Dino cutter is a plastic cutter which is around 12cm and is the ideal size for a sandwich made from a standard sized loaf of bread. The cutter has two dinosaurs (one will be upside down whatever way you hold the cutter) and one hard press down through the ...  Read the complete review

Lakeland Dino Cutter: Can you eat a dinosaur? (328 words)

I went on a shopping trip to Lakeland on Saturday after I had read a few reviews of items that I thought would be useful. I had read a couple of positive reviews on the dino cutter and thought it would be ideal for my son who loves dinosaurs. He isn't particularly interested in food at the moment although will eat absent minded so I thought this may create a little enthusiasm for his toast and sandwiches. The dino cutter is a 12 cm square cutter which cuts out two dinosaurs out of a single piece of bread, it is transparent green colour and priced at £1.95. When I got the item home my son went rummaging through my bags and found it attached to ...  Read the complete review

I am not in general the type of mum who cuts food into shapes or makes faces with the kids dinner to get them to eat it but my son was having a dinosaur themed birthday party and so when I saw this Dino cutter in my local Lakeland I just had to buy it. I couldn't believe the price at just £1.95, even if I only used it for the party it would still be a bargain. It is made from a strong green plastic, it measures 12cm (4¾") sq. This is the perfect size for a standard slice of bread, the only left overs are the crusts which is fantastic as if you use a normal cookie cutter you are left with loads of wasted bread. Each slice of bread will give ...  Read the complete review

I bought a Lakeland Dino Cutter a few months ago, after spotting it in their catalogue that I have sent to me several times a year. I really like Lakeland's products and enjoy looking through the catalogue for new and innovative products. I went to my nearest Lakeland shop, at Handforth in Cheshire, to purchase the cutter, which cost £1.95. The Dino Cutter is made of green plastic and consists of two dinosaur shapes together, so you can make two sandwiches or pieces of toast at the same time. I bought it for my two year old daughter, who is a fan of Peppa Pig and her little brother George (who is also mad about dinosaurs). The Dino Cutter has proved to be ...  Read the complete review
