If you are lucky enough to have a Lakeland shop in your area then this is where you can buy a packet of these very useful 'Klippits'

They are a plastic fastener which, when fastened over a bag or packet, closes with a click and seals the bag or packet so it is airtight. No more fiddling with wire ties which are never tight enough.

They come in a variety of sizes and packs to suit your purse but I would recommend going for the Bumper Mixed pack - 48 Klippits for £8.49. This contains some jumbo sized Klippits which will even seal the tops of large cereal packets.
They are extremely strong and can be washed in the dishwasher.

I use mine for so many things that I am now on my second Bumper Pack.
I seal the bread wrappers, cereal boxes, biscuit packets and everything I store in the fridge and freezer - so no more peas rattling around the drawers. I even use them to seal my garden seeds and chemical packets so they last for so much longer. If you open a drawer,cupboard or shed at my house you will see the little army of Klippits have taken residence.

I thoroughly recommend them as, like everything at Lakeland, they are so much better quality than those you see in supermarkets. I have never broken one yet.
