Advantages: last you years
Disadvantages: seem expensive compared to others
Lakeland klippits are a brilliant product, they are not the cheapest version of bag clips available in the shops, but I've found they are certainly the best quality available.
I've had Lakeland klippits that have been going for years and years, constantly in use, in and out of the freezer, in and out of the cupboards on various bags of frozen and dried goods, and they are still going strong. They are basically as good as new.
I've also had cheaper versions of bag clips which have not even lasted a week or two without the hinge snapping, or if the neck of a bag is too bulky the hinge has broken when I've first used them.
I always have a constant supply of Lakeland klippits in my utensil drawer, they are fantastic for sealing just about anything quickly and easily. They give an airtight seal to freezer bags, and opened cartons or packets of dry goods. The hinge can be flexed thousands of times without weakening.
They come in a range of sizes, you can get a mixed pack of 30 small, 12 standard and 6 jumbo for £8.49. A pack of 30 standard for £7.99. A pack of 4 extra large jumbo for £3.99. And a pack of 5 small for £1.69. I'm not sure which size we have as I've had mine for so long, a testament to how long these will actually last.
