White Basics 3 Divided Sauce Dish 15cm
I have a good selection of Maxwell & Williams white basics kitchenware that I have accumulated over the years. I find their products good value and good quality all in all.
I have three of the 3 divided sauce dishes in my house. The dish is from the white basics range, which is exactly what it says on the tin! The dish is made from a high quality white porcelain material, that is very thick and strong, I expect it would survive a drop or knock without having any visible damage left on it due to the quality of the porcelain.
The dish is 15 cm in length and has an approximate height of 1 cm. The dish is divided into three small rectangular sections which are quite shallow given the dishes height. This is intended as a sauce serving dish, I use mine quite rarely, but when I do I tend to put in oils and balsamic vinegars for dipping breads. The sauces look really good in the dish, especially when you alternate the different coloured sauces and dips. You could also use these for things like soy sauce, wasabi etc.. But they really are too small for using as nut and snack holders.
The dishes are really easy to wash and clean and look really glossy and new even after many uses. I love the white basics range for this reason. They are very sleek and slimline looking. These are microwave, dishwasher, oven and freezer safe!
Although not an everyday kitchenware item these are really handy for parties and to bring some sophistication to the table. Each dish costs only £2.50 and to me is a very affordable and stylish sauce dish. Available online at maxwellandwilliams.co.uk and Amazon and also at some department stores.
