I am not an avid member of a gym although I do have gym membership but I do use these shakers.... not for protein shakes but for slimfast shakes! This protein shaker is cheap at £1.95. It stands at 22 cm tall and has a measuring gauge down one side so you know how much liquid (milk in my case) to add in. It also has rigged sides which makes it easy to hold. The top is a screw top with a flip top lid which you can see from the picture. However I've found after a good few uses (used every day for nearly 5 months) the flip top doesn't stay secure and I've had a leakage but for the price I was happy to buy another one (I actually bought 3 though as ... Been an active member of my gym I always find myself on the same website for my supplements; MyProtein.co.uk. This is where I stumbled across this new Blender Bottle. This bottle is basically for mixing sports drinks that may not mix too well, such as dextrose, protein, leuicine and such products. They can be purchased from many good supplement and sports shops such as JJB to Holland and Barratt. The one thing you will notice about these bottles however is the price. They average around £4-5 in price per bottle, and when you get through a few bottles a day it comes quite costly in them. This is when I decided to hunt around and looked on ... Ive been using whey protein for years and one of the major elements you have to consider is flavour, please see my review on myprotein impact whey. The other big factor is what us protein gimps call mixability. Yes the factor of how easy it is to mix the whey powder into milk or water...trust me try milk its better. And a major factor of this is whether you use a fork in a large glass/mug or a mixing jug such as this. So its worth hunting around for a good mixer it makes all the difference. The myprotein site has a couple of choices bottle design. The standard lattice structure bottle holds approx 700ml of liquid, and has a screw on and flip top ... Read the complete review

I purchased this a few days ago, but also had this a few years ago, but unfortunately lost the bottle, but I cam across it here, so thought it would be a good idea to give my take on it. The brand is Myprotein. They are a growing company, and their stock has literally increased ten fold since I started using them around six years ago. Initially they stuck mainly to protein powders with a small range of other items, now protein is just a small element. They even provide ready meals, advice on how to reach your athletic goals, and of course accessories, and this is where the Blender bottle I am reviewing comes in. Pretty much most people who take gym ... Read the complete review

What a GREAT BOTTLE! With having four sons aged 19 years upwards ( 2 still live at home!), we seem to have an endless pile of protein bottles needing to be washed out! Being that seems to have become my job, I was pleased when they decided to purchase this particular bottle. The other ones they used to buy were similar to look at, but they are made completely different. They had a push on lid ( when trying to remove I would have a tug of war with them, then the last dredges went all over ME!) Once the lid was removed, in the neck there was a removeable seive, which was for mixing the shake when shaken. On the lid was a bendy arm ... Read the complete review
