I have recently tried out the Plenty kitchen paper and this is my review.

Plenty is a brand that I have only used once before but back then it was called 'Bounty' kitchen paper roll and so the name has changed to Plenty now. The kitchen paper is usually a bit dear for what I want to pay for kitchen paper but my local mini market often has special buys on at this time of year and one of them recently was for Plenty kitchen paper. The pack of two rolls cost me £1.20 which is around the same price as what I would normally spend for a double pack of kitchen roll from a more budget brand so I did not mind paying this amount for the twin pack of Plenty rolls.

The packaging is quite plain and is a plain see through clear plastic wrapper with the name of the Plenty kitchen roll on the front and the brand logo which is quite a bright colour design in green and yellow. I do not think that the packaging is very nice looking and I do not think it would catch my eye to much in the shop.

The Plenty kitchen roll is a bit thicker than the cheaper brands of kitchen paper I usually buy and I can tell this even looking at the roll and when I take the kitchen roll from the wrapper. The thickness of the rolls makes me think they will be very good at soaking up spills.

I use kitchen roll for things like cleaning and little jobs around the house. I also use it for food type purpose such as when I am frying food I like to drain any extra oil from the food before I serve it and kitchen roll is very good for this. Any mops and spills are also cleaned up with kitchen roll and so I do not like to run out of it at home as I use it most days.

The Plenty kitchen roll seemed to be more or less the same as any other type of kitchen roll I would use when it came to things like draining oily food. I thought it worked the same as any other type of kitchen roll I would use for this. When using it on a pool of water or a small spill though I thought it was a lot better than cheaper kitchen rolls and I think this is cos it is so much thicker than other types of kitchen roll I would usually buy. The Plenty kitchen roll soaked up any liquid very quickly and easily and it seemed to hold more liquid than cheaper brands do. I thought that the Plenty kitchen roll was very good when I used it to clean my mirrors and it was so thick and soft that it did not rip or tear which is what would happen if I used a cheaper kind of kitchen paper so I was pleased about that.

The Plenty kitchen roll was very easy to tear from the roll and the lines between each sheet were marked well and I could see them easily. This meant that each sheet came off easily when I pulled it and cheaper brands sometimes rip and tear when I try to do this.

I thought that the Plenty kitchen roll was good quality and I liked how it was easy to use and kept my house chores easy to do and did not cause me to use to much kitchen roll cos it did not rip and tear to easily like other brands I have used before that are cheaper. I would not pay to much for the Plenty kitchen roll cos it ends up in the bin and is only really used for house chores and cleaning but if it was on offer again or I saw it on discount I would buy it again to use around the house.

I would suggest giving the Plenty kitchen paper a try out and I think most people would be pleased with the quality of the kitchen roll just as long as you know you will pay a bit more for it than other brands of kitchen roll!

Summary: A GOOD KITCHEN PAPER
