It was only when I started thinking about products I own that I haven't reviewed yet that I realized how many Pyrex products I own! Of course I knew that Pyrex made a lot of kitchen dishes, but I just hadn't appreciated just how many of these products were in my kitchen!

I have two Pyrex Measuring Jugs - one of which measures up to 500ml and the other measures up to 1 litre. I have no idea why I have two of them as it really isn't necessary - but I do have two, but other than being different sizes they are essentially the same. I cannot remember how much the jugs cost me, but I do know that the 1L jug can be bought from Amazon for £5.40 and the 500ml jug currently costs £4.40 from Amazon. I think this is a good price.

As all Pyrex products, this is made from Borosillicate Glass which means that it is thermal resistant and so can be used in extreme hot and cold temperatures. I mostly use this to measure out liquids that are either at room or fridge temperatures and so the thermal resistance is not that important generally, but at times I do use this to make jelly - in which case I have to pour boiling water into the jug - and I have also used it occasionally in the microwave - and so it does have it's uses.

Both jugs feel very sturdy and like they would withstand a lot of abuse before becoming damaged. I must have owned both of these jugs for at least 7 years and neither has any damage to it - no scratches or chips. In addition to this, the measurements up the side of the jugs are in pristine condition and haven't faded at all over this time and so it's just as easy to measure out fluids using the jugs. Both have a sturdy glass handle which does not get hot even when boiling water is poured into the jug.

The measurements are up the side in red and are easy to read. It displays measurements in fluid ounces, milliliters and pints - and so no matter what measurement system you use, then it will be good for you.

Overall, I think this is a really good product and, like all Pyrex products, I highly recommend it.
