QCK Coffee Bean or Tea Filter

This is a little and rather novel idea for brewing a nice cup of coffee or tea directly in your chosen mug, without the mess and fuss of using a separate device. Personally, I don't like using this for coffee, I have other cafetieres and filter mugs that make a better cup of coffee. However, it does make a really nice cup of tea.

This is very easy to use, just open the lid and add the desired amount of either coffee or tea leaves, then pour in boiling water and leave this to sit for a few moments, before removing and then enjoying your fresh cup of coffee or tea. You can put the lid of the filter back on after you have poured the water in, in an attempt to keep your drink hotter for longer.

Furthermore, this filter does fit the majority of the mugs I own making it a handy thing to use when you are running around in the morning. I have taken and used this at work when you don't have much time and want to make a quick cup of coffee or tea. It would also make a great little addition to any camping trip.

This is made from a durable stainless steel mesh with heat tolerant plastic, which is dishwasher safe. However, it is really easy to just rinse this out after ever use. This feels and looks like a quality item and I have had mine for quite a while now and it still looks pretty close to being brand new.

This is available from Amazon for £8.72, which I think it a bit of a bargain. I bought mine when I was visiting a specialist tea shop and I remember it being around the £15 mark.

It is nice for the occasional cup of coffee but it does really work well when making a nice cup of tea. This is a simple filter that does exactly what you would expect and want from it, as such this deserves a well earned four out of five stars.
