      Disadvantages

      you get what you pay for

      The peeler
      ========

      The peeler is shown as in the picture above, I purchased the green one for 59p I usually use potato knives as I always seem to struggle with peelers for some reason, but I decided for camping I would buy this, so I bought this solely for this reason.

      The peeler is made of plastic which I did not find a very strong plastic, well actually I broke mine after a couple of months and ended up having to buy another that was not made of plastic. Whether its just me that's heavy handed I don't know loll.

      When I first used the peeler, I did find its handle was very easy to grip with as it has holes in the handle, so you can get a grip in the position that you prefer. As for the blade, it was just strong enough to peel through a potato, but I did tend to struggle at times with it. Although the handle made it easy to grip I still found it hard to use, and you could feel while using it that the plastic as not that strong either.
      The peeler did do its job but I felt I wasted more time peeling the potatoes than I normally would, normally my kids would also help me to peel the potatoes but even they struggled to use this and I ended up taking over myself.

      My overall opinion
      ===============

      Well for the reasons stated above, I would not recommend to buy this, I would prefer to pay that little bit extra and buy a wooden handled one rather than the plastic handle that snaps after a little bit of usage. I have never been that good with peelers anyway but with the look of this one I thought it might be a little bit easier but I was wrong, so it is not something I would ever buy again.
