Advantages: Cheap and cheerful

Disadvantages: None really

When I moved into this flat from a flatshare its fair to say I was missing a few items and needed them rather cheaply. Since getting this spoon I have replaced it with a lovely set but when it came to throwing it out I ended up keeping it along with all the others as a spare.

I bought this in my local Tesco store costing me only 35p at the time along with two other matching utensil items that cost around the same price, to simply get me by!

However this spoon is really good! Black plastic with a long handle that gets thicker to where you hold it, it even has a hole to the end of it to pop it on a rack and hang it should you desire. To the bottom end of it there is a rounded and rather large section with lined cuts outs to act as a draining item.

Made of black plastic this is pretty heat resistant though I wouldn't advise anyone to lie this on a hob as I'm pretty sure it would eventually melt however for grabbing hot food out of hot pans and the likes this has no issues at all.

It is dishwasher and washing up safe and I have to amit that I use this daily. I can't use it for really heavy foods because I do find that the spoon bends and flicks everywhere but for grabbing say cooked peas out of the pan or pasta its simply great!

All in all for something that costs now 37p I think it is a bit of a bargain. Its something I reach for often and although I've owned it well over a year now I've had no issues with it whatsoever!

Only available from Tesco stores.
