      Advantages

      Disadvantages

Waste of money in my humble opinion!

At the moment I am in the middle of sorting my flat out to move. Like most people I have dried bags of foodstuffs like pasta, rice and dried lentils and although I'm throwing out bits and bobs I'm not willing to throw out ¾ of a bag or rice and the likes if I don't need to!

That's why when I was in Wilkinson's the other day and spotted a bag of 8 clips in a bag I bought a couple of them at 99p for a bag of 8 and I thought that offered great value for money as well as them being brightly coloured and modern looking and rather cute.

      The Packaging:

The bag the clips come in is clear plastic with a white cardboard hanging section at the top of it and on the front of that in grey and black writing we are told that they are Wilko 'Really Useful Stuff For The Kitchen' Bag Clips and that there are 8 of them of course in the bag then on the back we are basically given contact details for Wilkinson's and that's that.

      The Clips:

Well in a pack you get two turquoise, two lime green, two deep purple and two red coloured clips They are all plastic with a longish handle to each that you pinch to open and close and then the bit that clips onto a bag is oblong and the whole thing is secured with a silver clasp to both sides so it holds onto a bag securely .

Although these look nice though they have a really cheap feel to them and they are not that strong. The other issue it on the shiny types of plastic bags we get they tend to slide off as the tiny indented teeth these have are not sharp and very blunt indeed I find sometimes with effort I can get them to stay on bags but sometimes they simply ping off and food stuffs spill out everywhere anyway.

Basically these are nice to look at but really aren't very effective at all sadly and in my opinion a bit of a waste of money cos they just aren't trust worthy enough to stay put and do their flipping job!

Only available from Wilkinson stores and from Wilkinson plus.com but I don't advise anyone to waste their cash really on these!
