I really wanted to believe in the magical properties of Crème De La Mer but ultimately for my skin type it yielded no better results than a cheap face cream. La Mer Creme de La Mer ... so many people have said, I couldn t believe there could be a face cream worth paying this much for, but for me it s been nothing short of miraculous. I ve had breakouts and dry patches since being a teenager, (the usual oilier t-zone and dryer cheeks) and this has worked wonders. My skin is more even, the colour of my skin is more even (previous patches which tended to be redder appear calmed) and the cycle of break-outs and drying seems at last to be broken. For me, it was a matter of trying this as a last ditch effort to help myself before asking to be referred to a dermatologist (I shudder to think what that would have cost) and now I wouldn t be without it. La Mer Creme de La Mer ... cant actually remember how & why I ended up using this product, however it is now my staple moisturiser. Ive been using creme de lar mer now for a good few years and until last December there were occasions when it ran out & I had to resort to a fill in moisturiser. During this period i always noticed my skin becoming much dryer and sadly I think i look older! Creme de la mer is a very thick cream which reminds me a bit of cold cream that was used many years ago, it kind of smells a bit like that as well! From the minute you use it (& you really only need a tiny amount ie finger nail size) you can feel it pumping up your skin with moisture & your skin... La Mer Creme de La Mer ... up in the mornings with a very shiny oily face - no more! And the dry spots are gone! I use my crème de la mer in the evenings as a night cream and eye cream, after washing with the face wash. If it is not working for some people fair is fair, a lot of other good products didn t work for me either! I went to go speak to one of the La Mer consultants after receiving the gift to discuss some of the negative stuff I read on the internet regarding La Mer not working. Here is some info: 1.)
