Advantages: Very creamy

Disadvantages: Overpriced and not as good as my normal moisturiser!

I was bought this for Christmas, but guessed what it was and opened it before Christmas day! The person who bought it for me is a man and about 35. I am a woman and exactly 50 and a half! I have greasy skin with open pores but know that I must moisturise. I couldn't wait to use this cream after continually reading that all the stars use it. At the moment I feel disappointed with it. My normal night time routine is Decleor products: oil followed by their night balm. This is a wonderful experience. The balm you rub between your fingers and the smell is sublime. Decleor products are all natural and aromatherapy.

Ever since using Creme de la Mer I have had small yellow outbreaks and more blackheads than usua. Compared to Decleor it is full of rubbish, as well as the good bits. Just look at the list of ingredients.

I will continue to use it and report back in 4 weeks and let you know if it has made any difference to my skin. Because I was already following a good skincare programme with good products, maybe I won't see any improvement.

Watch this space!

Summary: Long list of bad ingredients

Welcome to Dooyoo! You've got the basic idea spot on with this review, but it's generally better to wait until you've done the full product test before writing, rather than the update method.

If you have any questions at all about the site, do feel free to ask myself (I'm standing in for the beauty guide at the moment!) or one of the other guides - you'll find a full list and contact details here: http://members.dooyoo.co. uk/community/_page/advice _guides/

Happy Dooyoo'ing!

Been wanting to try this for years...but the price has always put me off. Sounds like I did well to keep my money afterall! Lexy

Isn't this the stuff that's phenomenally expensive? It doesn't sound worth it!
