After reading various glowing reviews of La Mer Crème de La Mer I decided to give it a go to see if it would make me glow as well.

I had been using a combination of Clarins prodicts for many years on my oily skin, which had worked well up until recently when my skin began to dry a little. It was at this point that I decided to purchase a sample size of Crème de La Mer.

I used the crème for about a week, following the instructions of warming I a tiny amount between my fingers and patting it on to the skin. However after the week was up my skin looked no different. I hadn't suddenly broken out in hives or acne, but also had seen no specific improvement. I ended up going back to Clarins and purchasing a slightly richer moisturiser from them.

I really wanted to believe in the magical properties of Crème De La Mer but ultimately for my skin type it yielded no better results than a cheap face cream.
My advice if you want to try Crème de La Mer is to purchase a tiny sample size and see whether it works for you.
