I first used creme de la mer from my sister's jar. We were on vacation together and I didn't bring my moisturizer. After one week of using her creme de la mer, I got myself a jar. I used to use every product in the skin care regieme. Cleanser, toner, mask, serum, exfoliant, AHA, BHA, moisturizer, you name it. After using creme de la mer, I got rid of everything. I only have my Aveeno soap and creme de la mer. Creme de la mer looks like lard and I thought it will be too greasy for my skin. I follow the instructions, warm up a bit between my fingers and applied to my face. It leaves my skin soft and silky and now I swear by it. My sister is 30 and she still gets many people asking her when she will be finished school. I am 24 and also get many similar questions. My mom is 53 and she looks like she is in her 30's.
The way I see it, I used to spend about 100 bucks a month on skin care. I have used many drug store items, specialty store items, and department store items. I have since cut down on the amount of time I spend on my face. One jar of creme de la mer is 300 bucks and it lasts me about a year. My skin tone has improved and I know that because I kept getting compliments.
