I was bought Creme De La Mer face cream and lip balm by my sister for my birthday and I must admit that I was very disappointed with both of them. The face cream was extremely thick which I took to be a good sign as I have rather dry skin with an oily t zone. I did, however, find it rather difficult to apply and it tended to 'drag' on ... I have read many reviews about Creme de la Mer and they tend to focus on the price, unsubstantiated ingredients and difficulty of application. I agree that the price is quite hefty however you will find that a small pot does go a long way. This is because the cream is very thick (it will stay in the jar if you hold it upside down). ... *NOTE* Firstly id like to make a note to the people who slate creme de la mer. What i have found with these people is that they are the people who have no read the leaflet or on the website on how to use this prodcut correctly. There IS a special technique to using this product. It is NOT a slap-it-on-your-face-and-rub-it-in ... Read the complete review

I have used CDLM for 4 months running and the best proof that it works is that i am so comfortable going without makeup which is something that never happened pre-CDLM. My skin is transluscent and luminious. Having said that, I actually tried the original, Gel and Oil absorbing cream before concluding that the Gel worked phenomenally with

Hi
Have used creme de la mer for 5 years and it is brilliant, I have many allergies and it is the only cream I can use. I am surprised at the comments.
I have bought other products such as elizabeth arden estee lauder, lancome, but could not tolerate the strong fragrances in them and they brought me out in a rash.

I've read up all of the reviews for this product, and it's interesting to see such a range of reactions to this product. From what I can tell, some people get severe allergic reactions to the basic 'creme'. Which I can imagine must be really disappointing (especially after having forked out a big wad of cash)! I've never used ... Read the complete review

Tried this creme in John Lewis (Oxford Street) today, hearing so many good reviews. I have sensitive skin, and I am not alergic to chemicals (just did an alergy test recently). In 2 minutes my face got red, extremely powerful alergic reaction followed. My face felt iching and on fire after 1 hour still, and I felt horible. I'll stick to ... Read the complete review

As so many people have said, I couldn't believe there could be a face cream worth paying this much for, but for me it's been nothing short of miraculous. I've had breakouts and dry patches since being a teenager, (the usual oilier t-zone and dryer cheeks) and this has worked wonders. My skin is more even, the colour of my skin is more ... I must admit I felt very guilty spending such a lot of money on a cosmetic but how pleased I am!!!! I have never had any problems with my skin and I am only 22 so I haven't really noticed any dramatic changes but immediately I noticed my skin was clearer, softer and brighter. I even noticed that my skin was looking pretty good after a h

I've read lots of reviews as I have sensitive skin and didn't want to fork out loads of money if it wasn't any good. I have to say I've been using it a week and have immediately noticed the difference!!! My husband has also commented on my skin and he doesn't normally notice these kind of things. I've always used expensive brands and a

I cant actually remember how & why I ended up using this product, however it is now my staple moisturiser. Ive been using creme de lar mer now for a good few years and until last December there were occasions when it ran out & I had to resort to a fill in moisturiser. During this period i always noticed my skin ... Read the complete review

While visiting a department store in Belfast today went to enquire at the creme de la mer counter having heard so much about it. Sales assistant put some on back of my hand and it did feel nice - a bit greasy though. Next, she applied the eye lotion. Immediately started to sting and within 5 minutes looked like a red panda (if there is

I have only been using Creme de la Mer for about two weeks but already i can see the difference! I use the facial refinisher, the cleansing lotion and serum all from Creme de la mer, and of course the moisturising cream. It helps that i work for estee lauder and get a massive 75% discount otherwise i wouldn't be able to afford this produ

When I was 40 I had no wrinkles and looked young, but had a dry patch that on my forehead between my eyes...I tried every product on the market and even went to a dermatologist. Nothing worked. I was shopping and there was someone giving away La Mer samples and told me it would work. (didn't know then how much it cost). Within a ... Read the complete review

I used Creme de la Mer shortly after it was introduced I found it good but not good enough to justify the price. I have been using Boots Protect and Perfect serum for almost a week which is only £16.75 and it is absolutely FANTASTIC, FAR superior to Creme de la Mer at a fraction of the cost! Why spend a fortune on a ... Read the complete review

I'm 36 yrs old and have always had good skin. However, as I approach the big 40, I've noticed fine lines and redness. I also moved to Tucson, AZ (the driest place on earth!) and was warned it would age me. I heard so much about La mer I thought I'd give it a try. I love it. As an avid skin cream user I tried almost all of them but this is without a doubt the best! It's expensive but you get what you pay for with this product. Having said this, you need only a very small amount rubbed into the hands to warm it before you put it on and it does spread easily. My face was noticably improved within about nine ...
