After reading various glowing reviews of La Mer Crème de La Mer I decided to give it a go to see if it would make me glow as well. I had been using a combination of Clarins prodicts for many years on my oily skin, which had worked well up until recently when my skin began to dry a little. It was at this point that I decided to ...  Read the complete review

As so many people have said, I couldn't believe there could be a face cream worth paying this much for, but for me it's been nothing short of miraculous. I've had breakouts and dry patches since being a teenager, (the usual oilier t-zone and dryer cheeks) and this has worked wonders. My skin is more even, the colour of my skin is more even ...  Read the complete review

I must admit I felt very guilty spending such a lot of money on a cosmetic but how pleased I am!!!! I have never had any problems with my skin and I am only 22 so I haven't really noticed any dramatic changes but immediately I noticed my skin was clearer, softer and brighter. I even noticed that my skin was looking pretty good after a heavy night out on the town. I love creme de la mer and I will continue to use it for as long as I live (providing I keep my job haha).

I've read lots of reviews as I have sensitive skin and didn't want to fork out loads of money if it wasn't any good. I have to say I've been using it a week and have immediately noticed the difference!!! My husband has also commented on my skin and he doesn't normally notice these kind of things. I've always used expensive brands and although I'm 43 I have good skin but Creme De La Mer has made my skin look and feel wonderful. The lady at the counter also gave me a sample of the new eye concentrate which again is great...that's next on my list of 'must buy'!!!

I cant actually remember how & why I ended up using this product, however it is now my staple moisturiser. Ive been using creme de lar mer now for a good few years and until last December there were occasions when it ran out & I had to resort to a fill in moisturiser. During this period i always noticed my skin becoming much ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on La Mer Creme de La Mer

While visiting a department store in Belfast today went to enquire at the creme de la mer counter having heard so much about it. Sales assistant put some on back of my hand and it did feel nice - a bit greasy though. Next, she applied the eye lotion. Immediately started to sting and within 5 minutes looked like a red panda (if there is such a thing). I felt as if my eyes were on fire. Trying to be helpful, she decided that to "cool it down" she would apply some of the creme on top - thought I was going to end up in casualty. Asked her for cold cotton pads and after about an hour the redness and swelling went down. BE VERY CAREFUL with this stuff. Used Estee Lauder for years without a problem and at less than half the price. Not worth the risk!

I have only been using Creme de la Mer for about two weeks but already i can see the difference! I use the facial refinisher, the cleansing lotion and serum all from Creme de la mer, and of course the moisturising cream. It helps that i work for estee lauder and get a massive 75% discount otherwise i wouldn't be able to afford this product.
i have also suffered from breakouts in the past which have blemished me skin and already there has been a huge improvement in my skin tone and texture. i am 30 years old and have no lines at all so i intend to keep using this amazing product! highly recommended.

When I was 40 I had no wrinkles and looked young, but had a dry patch that on my forehead between my eyes...I tried every product on the market and even went to a dermatologist. Nothing worked. I was shopping and there was someone giving away La Mer samples and told me it would work. (didn't know then how much it cost). Within a week the ...  Read the complete review

I used Creme de la Mer shortly after it was introduced I found it good but not good enough to justify the price. I have been using Boots Protect and Perfect serum for almost a week which is only £16.75 and it is absolutely FANTASTIC, FAR superior to Creme de la Mer at a fraction of the cost! Why spend a fortune on a moisturiser when ...  Read the complete review

I'm 36 yrs old and have always had good skin. However, as I approach the big 40, I've noticed fine lines and redness. I also moved to Tucson, AZ (the driest place on earth!) and was warned it would age me. I heard so much about La mer I thought I'd give it a try. I love it. It's no miracle but it hydrates like a dream and has helped even out ...  Read the complete review

As an avid skin cream user I tried almost all of them but this is without a doubt the best! It's expensive but you get what you pay for with this product. Having said this, you need only a very small amount rubbed into the hands to warm it before you put it on and it does spread easily. My face was noticably improved within about nine days, the ...  Read the complete review

Popping into Harrods for a loaf of bread the other day (as you do) I decided to have a little look at the cosmetics counters. First off, let's address the cost of this amazing cream. A one ounce jar lasts at least six months if you use it properly, compared to a couple of months for most other moisturisers. So, while yes, you fork out a lot for the little jar, on a month by month basis it is not much more expensive than other premium moisturisers. ...  Read the complete review
