... on an evening after sun exposure. It's important to understand that this product is essentially an after sun and should not be used as sun protection. I also wouldn't recommend that you reduce the factor of sun cream that you are using even if you are using this cream - but I am extremely paranoid about sun exposure - probably because of the colour of my skin.

Being extremely pale (verging on the pale blue colour on the legs - Larvely!) I always struggle to tan and when I do despite using factor 40-50, I normally go a nice lobster colour followed swiftly by peeling and then back to the white / blue colour I've become accustomed to over the years. A few years ago a friend of mine recommended the tan maximser by Lancaster to try and enhance any colour I may get in the summer months and on holidays and I have been hooked ever since. The product is pricey (can vary between £20 and £25) but it is the only product out there that I have found even remotely works for my skin. I love this product and would never go on holiday without it! I know it is wrong but I do like to get a suntan whilst I am on holiday. I buy accelerators and pre-sun products to get ready for my holiday. I first heard about this product several years ago and since I first tried it I have never looked back. The product is as obvious as it says - aftersun tax maximiser. You apply the product after you have been in the sun to soothe and relax your skin whilst at the same time boosting the melanin production in the skin to build up a deeper and faster tan. My "sun free" skin colour being best described as "corpse with an extra hint of blue", I have tried pretty much everything over the years to speed up getting closer to that healthy bronzed look.
