Advantages: Covers lashes well, leaves lashes silky, deep colour

Disadvantages: a bit steep in price

While it is a pricey mascara, which is to be expected from a company such as Lancome, Amplicils mascara does deliver what it promises to do. I have been using it for about five months now, and the first time I bought the deep brown mascara. Being somewhat blonde, I did not want a harsh look, but this last time I indulged in the black just to get a more dramatic look. It worked and my eyes have never seemed so defined and the lashes more thick and luxurious. I have naturally light eyelashes, and this mascara gets down into the lash root area, and makes the eyes look deep and sooty...a very sexy look. I have received many compliments, and recommend it for those who don't mind spending a bit more for a quality product which also seems to last. There are no fibers to get in the way, and just two coats will make your eyes about as defined as you would want. It covers well from corner to corner too, so I don't usually have to do too much for the lower lashes, as it colours them just enough at the same time. It is easily removed with a basic eye make up remover, and leaves the lashes soft and real looking as well. It comes in three colours: brown, deep brown and black. Highly recommended!
