This product has just won an Instyle magazine award for 'Best Beauty Buy' but here is why it's my winner.
One of my ultimate goals in life is to find a range of beauty and bath products which are my 'staples'. The things which I can't live withoutand buy again when I run out. Sadly, I am still searching for most of my signature products but I am happy to report- for eyemake up removal I have found my match. :)
I first tried this when I bought some makeup at a Lancome counter in Boots during one of their 'gift' periods. The solution in Bi-Facil is a two phase liquid with a oily phase and a watery phase, which you need to give a good shake to mix it together before you use it. You only need a few drops on a cotton wool pad to thoroughly clean away all eyeshadow and mascara. There is no stinging, and it does not dry out the skin around the eyes. I guess this is down to the oily phase in the solution, as it does leave behind a slight oily layer. I don't find this a problem as I generally only use it at the very end of the night before bed and it seems to absorb well overnight. When I do use it during the day, I tend to have a quick swipe over the area with a toner afterwards to remove the oily layer.
This eye makeup remover is currently around £19.50 for 125ml, and I find that it last quite a good long time.
Summary: My no1 eyemake up remover
