The tan is a light gel, it's an orange colour but don't worry about the colour of the gel because it looks a lot more natural when it's developed on your skin! The smell is light but quite rich as well, I can definitely smell the artificial fake tan but it's not strong or sickly or anything like that. I'm naturally quite pale, it doesn't bother me but sometimes when I'm going out I'd love to have a bit of a tan. I'm pretty clued up when it comes to body tans because I don't mind trying different ones out and have done since I was a kid, it's on my FACE that I stress about them because if you do a stupid tan job on your body you can cover up but you're not hiding a fake tan mistake if it happens on your face.
