Advantages: Great Look For Your Lips
Disadvantages: Abit Pricey
I have always been a fan of lip glosses rather than lip sticks. Maybe because it is more subtle and I believe it gives a better finish.
A friend bought me my first Lancome Juicy Tubes for a birthday present. I would definintely say it was a luxury item as it is around £11.50 - £13.50 just for one!! My friend bought me the Marshmellow (34) flavour/ colour.
The Product
This product when applied can be quite sticky when on your lips. I love the effect it gives to your lips though, so I would say it was worth it. The tiny little ´glimmer´it gives to your lips is subtle yet strong enough to be noticeable. I like the smell of this product and would imagine the other ranges would be also very nice smelling. Lancome is a quality brand and this lip gloss certainly does live up to its name.
The Packaging
The packaging of products is very important to me. I like the simplistic, yet sophisticated packaging of this product. Its transparent tube is easy to the eye and you can easily tell what colour the lip gloss is. This little handy size tube easy fits into your handbag too, which is of course a bonus.
Application
This product is pretty easy to apply and Im sure that even the most clueless person would be able to use this. Simply unscrew the lid, squeeze some gloss out and apply to lips. Its that simple. However as you do squeeze the product, sometimes you may squeeze too much out and you reach the point of no return. You either apply the excess you have squeezed out or you have to dispose of it and waste abit of this very expensive but luxurious gloss.
Variety
These Lancome Juicy Tubes are available is a number of flavours and colours. The ranges include:
Lychee - This is a very baby pinkish coloured gloss
Pamplemousse - This is a creamy, slightly beigey pink coloured gloss
Peche - This is very similar to Lychee but slightly darker and has a hint of orange
Marshmellow - This is the one I have. An orangey pink coloured gloss
Fraise - This is a dark pink coloured gloss. Would suit dark skin tones
Sorbet de cerise - This is a slightly reddy pink coloured gloss
Price
The price as mentioned above is about £11.50 - £13.50 per tube, which is abit much, but it is Lancome afterall. This price range for Lancome is normal and you would expect to pay this for a well known and established brand. I think this price is OK, but maybe could be slightly lower.
Overall
I like this product and moreso when my friends compliment me when I wear it. Everybody needs abit of luxury in their life and this could just be it!
