Advantages: Nice variety of shades

Disadvantages: Sticky and expensive

This is a review of Lancôme Juicy Tubes of which I own around 15. I know this is a lot but I really like them and some were bought for me as presents. I don't think I actually got round to finishing one yet as I leave them in coat pockets and handbags and then rediscover them weeks later.

What are they?
Juicy Tubes are a lip gloss that is available in many colours. My favourite ones are pink and a little bit sparkly but I also have ones without glitter for when I'm feeling sensible.

My collection
My husband went through a phase of buying me these as gifts until I told him to stop as I had more than enough. He then moved on to Nails Inc varnishes which is OK by me!

In use
I like to use these glosses more or less every day when I am going out of the house for either a shopping trip or to meet friends. They are a great lip gloss to use on the go too and I like to keep one in the car for those traffic light mirror moments. The full size version is a good long length and has a whopping 14.2g of product in them.

The other thing about these lip glosses is the taste and smell, they all smell different and taste sweet. Some smell fruity and some smell like caramel to me. I did have one that smelt like melon that I really didn't like.
When using these lip glosses I can honestly say they seem to be a lot stickier than other glosses I've used. This is OK on a calm day but wind + hair = not good.

Packaging
They are shaped with a squeezy nozzle at the end that you smooth over your lips. I like this better than a spongey brush as it doesn't get caked up if you wear lipstick under your gloss. I like the full sized tubes best but you can get mini versions, sometimes as a gift if you purchase other items. The full size tubes come in a silver box which looks posh and expensive although it gets thrown away as soon as I start to use the gloss.

Price
For a full size tube you can expect to pay around £15 but look out for mini sets as these do work out better value.

My thoughts
I still enjoying my Lancome Juicy Tubes but have less reason now to slap some on as I don't go out as much as I used to due to having a family to look after now! When the occasion calls for it though, the tubes are ready and waiting. I have to keep these out of reach and sight of my daughter as she is a big fan of mummy's makeup and these are far too expensive for her to ruin for me. I prefer the smaller tubes like you get as a gift with purchase as they are easier to clean up and don't get as sticky over time.

Final word
I do love these lip glosses but think that they are expensive and that there are other products on the market that cost less and perform equally well if not better.

Summary: One of my favourite brands of lipgloss
