Lancome le crayon Khol

I am a big fan of pencil eyeliners and I have tried so many eyeliners and so many brands as well. I thing that I have found when buying make up/cosmetics and skin care items is that more expensive brands may not be as good as they claim to be.

I like the Lancome brand and they are very high quality and the packaging for their products is so nice and sleek and expensive looking... probably because their products are sometimes expensive, but anyway... I am not really liking this product so much unfortunately.

I have the mini 0.7g version of this product which came in a set that i got wih other items like last christmas and I thought it was going to be like the best eyeliner ever but it was not.

Firstly it has a really nice texture and it applies so easily to my waterline and also on my eyelid which is really good as with some eyeliners that I have tried it is quite difficult to get a strong defined line of colour but with this it is no problem at all.

But it does not stay long on my waterline at all. When I apply it to just my top waterline the eyeliner can leave traces on my bottom waterline - like an imprint of where it put it, which is not good (and I don't get this with my loreal or rimmel khol pencils). But it does stay for most of the day on my eyelids - good for a smoky eyes but not good on my waterline!

I got it in a set so I didn't buy it on its own but on the lancome site it is £15 for the normal size version and they also come in loads of different colours such as plum, grey, silver, bronze, blue, brown, teal and the noir one that I have.

Conclusions
Good points
*Good high quality french brand
*Nice sleek expensive looking packaging
*Applies really easily to the lid and waterline
*Creates a really strong defined line of colour
*Lots of different colours available
*Easy to take off
*Stays on my eyelids for quite a few hours - but not all day

Bad points
*Does not stay on my waterline at all
*Smudges easily - good for a smoky eye only if you want that though
*Expensive - £15 each for the normal size version
*Does not last all day on my waterline or on my lid
