Advantages: nice packaging

Disadvantages: expensive full size needs to be sharpened often

I'm a huge fan of pencil eye liners and constantly trying out new ones. I purchased the mini version of this eye liner for 99p on eBay. You get 0.7g of product. I thought I was going to love it because Lancome is one of my favourite make up brands but I was really disappointed.

The packaging is really simple and sleek. The short pencil comes with a handy gold lid to keep it from drying out. The tip of the pencil is also really pointy and sharp, so it is good if you want to draw a really precise line on your eye lid.

The eye-liner glides on pretty smoothly on my waterline so there isn't much need to pull on the skin. However this eye liner is really smudgy but that is to be expected as it is a 'kohl'. After applying it to my tight line and blinking it would be transferred to my waterline. This is good if you want a smoky look.

The eye liner also came off really easily. It only lasted about an hour before it transfered on my lash line and made my eye make up seem very messy.

The eye liner is very creamy so it needs to be sharpened often. I found that the pencil snapped so it was very difficult to sharpen. I just gave up on this pencil because it became too small from all the sharpening and it became very difficult to use.

The full size version is very expensive at £15.30. I would not pay that much for this eyeliner as it just doesnt last on my waterline and too much product is wasted when it is sharpened.

Summary: not worth it
