... Idole comes in a cute bottle with a black lid and white writing. It says on the front: "Enduringly divine comfort make-up 14h retouch- free oil- free" Although the claims on the bottle meet up with the standards of the product: it's definitely oil free and it's definitely retouch free because it's very matte once it's on so you don't need to add anymore power through the day or foundation because it just seems to sit there, it did however disappoint me with how my skin looked the day after. Premium Review Lancôme Teint Idole: Didn't do my skin any favours! (728 words)

Rating:

Lancôme Tent Idol Virtually all make-up addicts have heard of the brand "Lancôme". It's one of the best premium brands in make-up however; I couldn't help feeling rather unsatisfied with this product. Results The Lancôme Teint Idole really didn't do my skin any favours, I knew straight away when I pressed down the pump it wasn't going to do anything for my very sensitive skin because it had a lot of fragrance in it. It smells a little bit like baby wipes... which isn't exactly appealing... right? So anyway, I applied the product already aware this product would be a nightmare for my skin, as I'd used other foundations from ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Long lasting Natural looking Foundation (202 words)
by - written on 20/02/08 (Useful, 199 readings)
Rating:

At first I absolutely loved this foundation as it does stay put really well especially with powder or a primer. However, as I continued using I realised that it really wasn't that good. It is suitable for oily skin, so it is water based. This means that it dries very quickly so you need to blend as soon as you apply it. If you try and blend after it has dried, you end up rubbing the foundation off and get an even more obvious tide mark than before. The coverage is not great to be honest - you can build it up but then you end up using loads of the foundation. It is very good in the fact that it looks very natural and never looks caked. The colour range is good but don't ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lancôme Teint Idole: Lancome's best? (242 words)
by - written on 02/10/00 (Very useful, 1049 readings)
Rating:

Teint Idole This is my absolute favourite foundation from the Lancome stable. It's more long-lasting than Maquimatte and easier to apply (with a better dispenser) than Maquicontrole. Aimed at oilier skins, this is good for everyone, except very dry complexions, who want a medium to fuller coverage that's oil free and really does stay put all day. Like a lot of oil-free make-ups, it needs a deft hand in application. It dries quickly on contact and needs very careful blending around the edges. But once it's on it really does stay put, especially if set with a dusting of powder. As with much Lancome, it's quite highly ...  Read the complete review
