Advantages: smells nice, does leave skin a tad softer and cleaner

Disadvantages: stings quite painfully

I love lancome products, especially their skincare ranges but this product I found a bit disappointing.

It's quite expensive, it costs £20.00 for 200ml or £32.50 for 400ml. I have the 400ml bottle and it's huge, it would easily last 6 months to a year of everyday use.

This toner claims to be for all skin types, and I have fairly normal skin but I definitely would not recommend this to anyone with sensitive skin.

The toner itself is blue in colour and smells quite nice it's a strong smell, but still quite pleasant.

The main issue I have with this toner is that as soon as I put it on my skin, it stings, not just a small tingle a real sting. It's really quite painful, it only lasts a couple of seconds but I really don't like it. It doesn't make my skin red, like you expect after the stinging sensation, and I don't know if toners are supposed to sting like that, but I find it really unpleasant.

It does leave your skin feeling a bit softer and cleaner but I'm sure I have had other toners which have a better effect and don't cause that much pain.

For rather an expensive product I would rather it wasn't an unpleasant experience when I used it.

Summary: I can't handle the stinging, so wouldn't recommend.
