A laptop carry sleeve from Belkin.

No matter how much I try to get organised before I leave work each day I never manage to do so and, as a result, nearly always end up taking my laptop home. After simply shoving it into a bag for the first couple of days I realised that by Christmas I was going to have one scratched, if not completely damaged, laptop. I had a little poke around in the IT room at work and came across a brand new Belkin laptop case which I quickly labelled as mine!

The Belkin 17 inch notebook sleeve is basically made of foam padding which is encased in a high grade neoprene fabric which means not a lot will penetrate it, therefore keeping my laptop relatively unharmed. It's designed to offer protection for laptops and notebooks up to 17 inches although they do offer different versions for both smaller and larger computers. It weights 499g so it's extremely lightweight and relatively easy to carry.

The notebook sleeve is a very dark brown in colour and has a sturdy metallic zipper which allows access to the sleeve itself. The zipper has a moulded grip on it meaning that it won't easily slip out of your fingers when you're using it. Inside the sleeve is a very pale blue colour, a little paler than the computer font colour cyan. The notebook or laptop can be easily accessed from either the top or the side of the sleeve due to the asymmetrical zip.

I would recommend one of these Belkin sleeves to anyone who transports their laptop around regularly to avoid any damage and for easier carrying. As I was lucky enough to pinch my cover from the storage cupboard I didn't actually pay a penny for it but having researched online I can tell you that it retails at £9.59 on Amazon (including packaging), at £10.99 at Sainsburys and at a massive £17.99 at Play. The full five stars from me!

      Thanks for reading.
