Crumpler Slippy Fish 13" Laptop Shoulder Bag

I've had quite a few crumpler bags, buying my first one years ago when I bought my very first Apple Macbook. When I was looking around for a new bag for my netbook I stumbled across this slippy fish range of shoulder bags on Amazon.

I bought this for my netbook because I tend to take that with me more often these days than my laptop and with winter on the way I wanted a sturdy all weather bag. The material of this bag is waterproof and hard wearing, it feels like a quality product.

Although it is a bit pricey it will be a bag that lasts for quite a while and unlike some of the other laptop bags I have bought it is both stylish and durable. It has a recommended retail price of £89.99 but this is available to buy from Amazon between £40 and £20 depending on colour. However, I bought the red/oatmeal version which is currently selling on Amazon for £19.99. The colour is quite vibrant and if you like red then I would recommend this bag. Personally, I think this bag looks quite unisex.

This laptop bag comes with an adjustable strap to get the fit you want, along with an adjustable and removable shoulder pad. It has a padded laptop pouch with a Velcro closure and then a separate area to put your power cord, mouse, or paperwork. There is enough room to comfortably accommodate my 10.2'' netbook and accessories and still to fit my purse, phone, keys and some makeup. This bag isn't too large and I find that even when it is full I can comfortably carry it around for most of the day. For a bit of extra security the laptop bag has both a clip and Velcro fastening main flap.

Overall, they are quite pricey compared to some of the cheaper bags available, but then I have found that Crumpler bags tend to last and last and last. I don't worry about a bit of rain or bad weather when I am out with this bag. This laptop bag in my opinion deserves a well earned five out of five stars.
