My parents bought me this laptop bag with my first laptop 5 years ago. They thought it "looked quite cool". Which it does, it's a nice colour (mine is the beige colour in the picture, I'm not sure if it's available in more colours), and there's a nice big pocket on the front which is very useful for putting your passport and flight tickets in if you're carting your laptop around Europe like I did.
Inside there are lots more pockets, some bigger and more useful than others, and the main storage space where you put your laptop is made of 2 sections. It's all very heavily padded inside, and there's a strap that you can put across the computer to make it even more secure. Actually it doesn't move at all when it's in there.
My laptop had a 15" screen and there was plenty of room in the bag for it along with the charger, a few disks and various other bits of rubbish that I put in there. I think it could cope with a bigger laptop too, maybe up to 17".
The only downside is that it does get very, very heavy, so if you're carrying it around airports with your other hand luggage, it can get a bit annoying. But the cross-body strap comes in very useful, and though my new laptop and carrying case are a lot smaller and lighter, I'd probably prefer this one for practicality.
