As notebook cases go this one actually isn't too bad considering it only cost £15.63 on Amazon. It is suitable for all notebooks unto 12.1 inches according to the manufacturers specs, but on inspection I would say that a machine of unto 14" would comfortably be accommodated. There isn't really a lot one can say about a bag, for some a bag is just a bag for others it is a glam accessory, I guess I'm somewhere in between. I'm not looking for a big flashy bag, neither do I want one, which looks out of place or is in your face.
The Tech Air Z0102 is perhaps not quite in between but as close as you might wish, being that it is quite basic. It has a large spacious interior which as I said would probably accommodate a 14" machine, mine being a petite 12.1 there is sufficient space left to hold my external power cable. There is also an adjustable portion, which is easily removed by way of simply peeling of the Velcro fastening. It can then be re-positioned to snuggly fit you notebook. Being basic doesn't mean that it is ugly in fact I think it looks pretty good considering the price.
There is an interior pocket for holding those vital documents and keeping them dry and safe. A small exterior pouch which is zipped can be used to store other pieces of equipment which may be required by your machine, i.e. CD's DVD,s this pouch is probably about 12" by 9" so there are possibilities for larger requirements.
The overall size of the case is approx 15" by 12" and it is made of black polyester and is shower proof. It feels quite light yet strong as well, and I do feel like I'm going to get some serious use out of it, which of course makes it pretty good value for money. I comes with a rather long adjustable shoulder strap which had a rubberised pad for comfort in transit. The bag is of the zipper type and those are of a silver colour. When they meet when closed there is an option for a padlock to be fitted for security. A small printed card is provided for name address etc not that I for one minute believe that if someone found/stole your laptop they'd return it. Being a case there is of course a handle on top to enable one to carry it in the more traditional style, this handle ( as does all of this product ) feels strong and secure.
The inside of the case is padded quite substantially and it certainly gives the impression it is going to protect your laptop/notebook given that you yourself take reasonable care not to just toss it everywhere. All in all I am very pleased with my purchase and definitely foresee it lasting probably longer than the notebook which it is going to protect, so for £15.63 I think I got a good deal.
