In fact, I got nearly 9 hours out of it by just using the word processor & internet. -Built in wireless card makes connecting to your WLAN or hotspot effortless. -4GB RAM is more than enough to run dozens of applications at once. I haven t surpassed the 3GB mark yet, and that s with antivirus, internet, and demanding games applications open all at once. -Huge hard drive. 	Toshiba Satellite Pro L300 ... ve had this laptop now since November 2008 after accidently breaking my last one(cleaning mishap)! I ve never experienced any problems with unlike my previous Toshiba where I had problems with the charger as the wire leads for it came loose and I basically had to spark my laptop in order to charge it!Anyway this laptop has excellent sound and vision, it has an excellent true bright screen so it has a mirror like quality to it. It s excellent for gaming as well, I ve loaded 2 games on it, one requiring much more memory than the other.The laptop still runs well and smoothly. 	Compaq Presario CQ61-310SA ... Compaq CQ61 laptop is great for any first time laptop buyers i luckily got mine free with a mobile broadband dongle so will just give my views on the laptop after using it for 2 months. The specifications of this laptop are great maybe not so if you are a gamer as some games i have tried work but on minimal settings. The hard drive is adequate for students giving you plenty of room for work.
