Apple MacBook Pro MB133B/A ... recently released MacBook Pros are by far the most powerful and most efficeint Apple laptops to be released to date. I purchased a base model MacBook Pro last month and have been using it daily ever since. The laptop will and has coped comfortably with everything I have thrown its way, even intensive tasks such as video and photo editing. This is by far the best laptop I have had the pleasure to use. I was hesistant whether to purchase a top end macbook instead of the base model pro. Acer Aspire 5920G-602G25MN ... am in love, with a laptop. The sad thing is that it s not even mine. I am, however, allowed to play with it whenever my sister s back is turned which I suppose is better than nothing. My sister paid £490 for her Acer Aspire 5920 about a month ago and it is really really beautiful, and an awful lot better than any laptop that I ve ever had. The Acer Aspire 5920 s processor is Intel Core 2 Duo T5550. Memory is 2 GB RAM [which from my experience is fine for general use. If you are programming or gaming then you may want more]. HP Compaq Tablet PC TC4200 ... just the size of a magazine, and only about 2kg, HP s Compaq TC4200 is considerably smaller and lighter than any other tablet I ve used or seen. With the screen rotated and locked back against the keyboard, the TC4200 is the perfect size for a tablet PC. The stylus ejects neatly from the side of the screen and as with all tablet PC s, stands in for the comfortable keyboard and the pointing devices (both a track point and a touchpad). The battery life of the computer is phenomenal at just over 6 hours, but that doesn t mean you ll be able to sit back and enjoy a selection of DVD movies while you re travelling; the TC4200 doesn t have a built in optical drive.
